Rove just launched a 50% transfer bonus from Rove Miles to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. Normally it's 1:1. Until the end of October, every 1,000 Rove Miles lands as 1,500 JAL miles. Rove's own announcement runs the math for you: 13,500 Rove Miles becomes 27,500 JAL miles, which is roughly one economy award on JAL, where flights start around 27,000 miles.
Now the fine print, because there's always fine print. The window is October 1, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. EDT through October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Rove says transfers are final once confirmed, so there's no undoing it if you fat-finger the amount. JAL also uses dynamic pricing, so those 27,000-mile economy and 55,000-mile business prices move around with demand. A bonus doesn't help if the seat you want costs twice what the chart implies. Check availability before you move a single point.
Is it worth it? If you already sit on Rove Miles and JAL is where you were heading anyway, a free 50% is hard to argue with. If you're thinking of buying or earning Rove Miles just to chase this, do the cost-per-mile math first. The bonus is only as good as what the points cost you. Confirmed against Rove's own announcement page on rove.com, which lists the 50% rate and the October 31 end date.
