Chase and IHG just dropped a brand-new premium card, the IHG One Rewards Premier Select, and it's launching with a welcome offer that'll make your eyes water: 200,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first three months, plus another 10,000 if you add an authorized user in that same window. That's a lot of free nights sitting behind one application.

The catch, because there's always a catch: the annual fee is $350. In return you get up to $300 a year in IHG food and beverage credits, a $200 annual airline statement credit, up to $50 in United TravelBank Cash, an anniversary free night (capped at 60,000 points, though you can top it up with your own points), automatic Platinum Elite status, and 20 elite night credits a year. Credits you'll never use are not credits, so be honest with yourself about whether you actually eat at IHG hotels before you start counting that $300 as real money. The $5,000 spend in three months is also not nothing if you don't have a big purchase coming.

Eligibility is the other fine print: you're out if you've held this card and got a new-cardmember bonus in the last 24 months, and Chase's usual application rules still apply. The offer runs through November 18, 2026. Worth it? If you stay at Holiday Inns, InterContinentals, or Kimptons even a couple of times a year, 200K points is a seriously strong haul for the fee. If not, keep walking.

We confirmed the offer terms, fee, benefits, and November 18, 2026 expiration against Chase's own newsroom announcement (media.chase.com).
