Amex quietly juiced the welcome offer on the Hilton Honors Aspire card to 200,000 points after $6,000 in spend in the first six months — the highest this card has ever offered. For context, that's enough for a week-plus at a lot of Hilton properties, or several nights at the pricier resorts this card's $400-a-year resort credit is supposed to make you feel better about paying for.

The catch, because there's always one: this is a $550-a-year card, and the 200K is the sign-up bonus, full stop — it does NOT include the Annual Free Night Reward, which is a separate, recurring perk you get every year on top of the welcome offer (redeemable at most standard Hilton rooms). So don't let anyone's math double-count that for you. You're also on the hook for real spend — $6,000 in six months isn't nothing — and points post 8-12 weeks after you clear it, so patience required.

Is it worth it? If you're already stalking Hilton Diamond status (which this card comps automatically) and you'll actually use the resort credits and free night, 200K is a genuinely great haul. If you'd let those credits rot, you're just paying $550 for points you could get cheaper elsewhere. Offer runs through January 13, 2027, confirmed directly against Amex's own official terms and conditions page.
