Rove just bolted on its 21st transfer partner, and this one's actually interesting: Copa Airlines ConnectMiles. That's notable because Copa hasn't been a partner of any major transferable currency in the U.S. before now — not Amex, not Chase, not Cap One. If you wanted ConnectMiles, you either flew Copa directly or you were out of luck. Now Rove members can move miles over at a standard 1:1 ratio, and through September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, Rove is running a 40% launch bonus on top of that, so every 1,000 Rove Miles you send over lands as 1,400 ConnectMiles.
The catch, such as it is: you need a Rove account to take advantage, and Rove isn't a credit card — it's a separate rewards account you earn into through travel bookings and shopping, so this isn't "open your wallet and go." If you've already got Rove Miles sitting around, though, ConnectMiles isn't a bad landing spot. Copa runs Panama City's Tocumen hub like a mini-MIA for Latin America, it's a Star Alliance member, and inflated ConnectMiles balances can be useful for booking Star Alliance award space that's otherwise a pain to find. Minimum transfer is 2,000 Rove Miles, capped at 999,000, and transfers are irreversible once submitted — so don't fat-finger it. Confirmed directly on Rove's own blog.
