Capital One just slapped a "your time is running out" sticker on the Spark Cash Plus and Spark Cash business cards, and for once the fine print isn't lying to you: the $500 travel credit on Spark Cash Plus and the $250 travel credit on Spark Cash both disappear after September 7, 2026. Miss the date and you're stuck with whatever lesser offer replaces it.
The numbers: Spark Cash Plus pays $2,000 cash plus that $500 travel credit for dropping $30,000 in three months, and it actually stacks — spend $500,000 in year one and Capital One hands you another $2,000, repeatedly. The $150 annual fee isn't waived, but it gets refunded if you clear $150,000 in spend for the year. Spark Cash is the little sibling: $1,000 cash plus $250 travel credit for $10,000 in three months, no annual fee the first year, $95 after that.
The catch, because there's always one: a $30,000 spend requirement in 90 days is not a rounding error. This card is built for owners already running real payroll, inventory, or ad spend through plastic, not for someone opening a card just to chase a bonus. If that's you, this is one of the stronger business card offers running right now. If it's not, don't manufacture $30K of spend for a travel credit that expires 15 months after account opening anyway.
Confirmed directly on Capital One's own Spark Cash Plus and Spark Cash product pages, both of which list the September 7, 2026 expiration on the travel credit offer.
