Best Western wants you to prepay for hotel stays you haven't booked yet, and for once the math actually works in your favor. Buy a $100 Best Western Gift Card between now and September 2, 2026 (midnight MST) and they'll toss in a free $20 bonus card on top — a flat 20% return before you've even picked a hotel. Do it the maximum five times and you've turned $500 into $600 in future room money.
The catch, because there's always one: that bonus card is not the same animal as the gift card you paid for. Your original $100 card never expires, but the free $20 bonus card burns out on February 28, 2027, so don't let it rot in your inbox until it's worthless. The offer is online-only, capped at five bonus cards per customer, can't be combined with any other discount, and only works at actual Best Western-branded hotels — not the WorldHotels Luxury Collection properties BW picked up a while back. Also limited to residents of the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
This isn't a mistake fare or some wild transfer bonus. It's a plain "pay Best Western now, save 20% later" play. If you're already booking Best Western a few times a year, this is free money sitting on the table. If you're not, don't go manufacturing a reason to be — a 20% discount on a hotel you weren't going to book anyway is not a deal.
Confirmed directly on Best Western's own official gift card page.
